Letter in the Attic

Letter from William Vine to his daughter Rhoda Waterman (Mrs John Waterman Junr) written from Vine Place, Brighton to Brenchley, Kent

About this item:

Description

The letter has a lot of religious content. A Mr Wesly has visited. RW is expected for a visit to her parents in April and her sister Sarah Woodhams was expecting a child with her husband Obediah, a tailor. WV talks of having different Preachers as 'supply' as Mr Savory was at what was formerly Mr Bow's church. WV sends his congratulations to William (presumably a relative of RW's husband) on his marriage.
