Letter is written jointly by MV (WV's third daughter) and WV with WV adding his part underneath MV's letter. MV writes of family and friends. She writes that 'Obed' has done some work for the Duke of St Albany, this was probably Obediah Woodhams, a tailor, who was married to one of WV's other daughter Sarah. William Savory, the Minister of Salem Chapel had been ill and their mother Mary Vine had been to the funeral of Mrs Shaselford.
