Description

In 1990 and 1991 Sharon Forsdyke undertook a trip round the south coast and visited Brighton, Hove and the surrounding areas between 23 and 27 September 1991. This is a set of scanned extracts from a travel journal she kept at the time, plus scans of the photographs she took and the leaflets she collected.

Biographical information

SF was born in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex on 2 February 1965. When she was eight she decided she wanted to travel round the UK. After graduating from Chester College, and working in London for three years, in December 1990 at the age of 25 SF spent ten days travelling round Rochester and Faversham as a 'trial run' she then did some temp work to finance her six weeks round Kent in June 1991, returned home to Leigh and temped again, ready for five weeks round Sussex.
