Description

The letters which make up the LIA/18/1 were sent by friends to congratulate EDN and his wife on their marriage, which took place in Hangleton in 1941. There is also a photograph of the couple on their wedding day. The photos from World War One in LIA/18/2 were taken by EDN's father-in-law, Frederick George Flude (1895-1934).

Biographical information

EDN served with the RAF during World War Two and was based in Gosport. His wife, Gwendolen Alfreda Nicklen, nee Flude (1922-1999) was a nurse based in Brighton.
